SYNC^® 4 offers advanced software updates delivered wirelessly. These updates can help strengthen the ownership experience by keeping your vehicle's software up to date with the latest enhancements. Many updates will be virtually invisible to customers.

ONBOARD SCALES

This first-in-its-class* available feature measures approximate payload weight. You can view onboard^™ scale status through the SYNC^® 4 screen, FordPass^™ App or via an LED visual display in the taillamps that lets you know your load status. That way you know what you're carrying doesn't exceed the weight your vehicle can handle.

Smart Trailer Tow Connector

The available Smart Trailer Tow Connector informs you if something regarding your trailer needs attention. Just view the tow activity screen to find out information like when your tow or turn indicator lamps are out or there are brake lamps or trailer battery problems.

Dynamic Hitch Assist

Dynamic hitch assist* can help when you're trying to line up with and attach a trailer to your F-150^®. Put your truck in Reverse, and your backup camera will turn on. Dynamic hitch assist will be your on-screen guide, and allow you to align your hitch with a trailer using the lines that indicate the direction your truck will travel in reverse. No need for spotters, double-checks or getting out of the cab.

Continuously Controlled Damping

Continuously Controlled Damping dynamically adjusts shock absorber stiffness in real time to match the road surface and driver inputs. It's fully automatic depending on the drive mode you select. It monitors suspension position, vehicle loading, vehicle speed, road conditions and steering to adjust suspension damping for enhanced vehicle control, particularly when towing or hauling heavy loads. Standard on Limited, and available on LARIAT, King Ranch^® and Platinum.

Stowable Shifter

With the push of a button, the gear selector stows away to reveal a flat work surface to fold out. When parked, the available Stowable Shifter is stowable so you can open the available work surface.

Fold Open the Work Surface

The 2022 F-150^® has been better suited with an in-vehicle desk that folds down next to the driver's seat. This available interior feature makes it ideal for signing paperwork, working on a 15-inch laptop, or enjoying a meal while parked.

Get to Work

In models equipped with a front bench seat, the middle seatback folds to create a console, and its top can slide and swivel to become a table.

Partitioned Lockable Under-Seat Storage

Need a safe place to store your tools and other work gear? The 2022 Ford F-150^® features available partitioned, lockable, fold-flat rear under-seat storage that's a great place to keep your stuff.

Power Tailgate

The available power tailgate lets you automatically lift and lower your tailgate with just your key fob. Now you won't have to blindly reach for a latch when your hands are already full. Before you load up, click the fob and lower the tailgate. Or if you're unloading, save yourself a trip back and lift the tailgate from a distance. The power tailgate also includes the tailgate step and tailgate work surface.

Tailgate Work Surface

The F-150^® is a platform your business can run on. And the available tailgate work surface holds up its end of the bargain - built with durable composite construction materials and practical details that simplify and support your work. The flat surface is a perfect space to write, measure and cut. It's grained to help avoid slips and integrated with functional tools like rulers, a mobile device holder, a cupholder, small-item storage and even bottle openers to make life a little easier when you need to take a break or enjoy the end of a long day.

BLIS^® With Trailer Coverage

Available BLIS^® (Blind Spot Information System) with Trailer Coverage is a little added help out on the road. It can help by alerting you if a vehicle is detected in your truck's or trailer's blind spot.* With the available telescoping trailer tow mirrors, you can get an even better look at what you're towing, helping create more confidence and security during lane changes and wide turns.

Lane-Keeping System

It happens. While on the job or heading to your favorite outdoor getaway, you've wandered too close to the edge of your lane. However, the available Lane-Keeping System can help you stay in your lane, even during a moment of distraction. This smart feature scans your vehicle's position between the lines in the road ahead and can alert you if you're starting to edge out of your lane. Having trouble staying on track? After you've drifted, the windshield will display a coffee cup icon, letting you know it's time to take a break.*

Pre Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking

Hazards along the way can arise anywhere, at any time. This feature is designed to scan the road ahead and can alert you to a potential collision with a vehicle or pedestrian detected ahead of you. * If an impact becomes imminent and you don't take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But they'll only activate if they're needed.*

Auto High-Beam Headlamps

We've all been there. Heading into a pitch-black stretch of road and having to turn on the high beams, then forgetting to turn them off as oncoming traffic approaches. Now, unlit roads, dark peripheries and other low-visibility situations don't have to catch you off-guard. Auto High-Beam Headlamps can sense poor lighting conditions and switch on to light your path ahead. They even sense oncoming headlights and dim automatically so you don't have to worry about blinding other drivers. So you can keep your focus- and both hands on the wheel.*

Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control

Tech that makes your long drive feel like a cruise. Not only does available Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go help you keep your pace, but can also slow down your vehicle if the traffic ahead has stopped or slowed. As soon as things clear, you'll get right back to where you left off. And that's not the only way it enhances your cruise control experience. Standard on the 2022 Ford F-150^®, the Rear View Camera with Dynamic Hitch Assist* provides a wide view of what's behind your vehicle. Just make sure to keep the camera lens free of debris (like snow or dust) and you can navigate Reverse with more confidence.

Pro Trailer Backup Assist^™

Whether you're a novice or a seasoned pro, backing up with a trailer can be challenging. This available feature makes it as easy as turning a knob - simply rotate in the direction you want the trailer to go and Pro Trailer Backup Assist^™ responds accordingly.*

Hill Descent Control^™

Hill Descent Control^™ is essentially a cruise control system that uses traction control technology with anti-lock brakes.* This system continually adjusts braking pressure to help control slippage and maintain a constant preset speed while you are going down a steep grade. This capability helps you concentrate on steering since you don't have to apply the brakes or downshift. On a downhill grade, Hill Descent Control^™ can maintain a vehicle speed between 2 and 12 MPH. Above 20 MPH, the system remains activated, but the descent speed cannot be set until you are below 20 MPH again.

CONNECTED BUILT-IN NAVIGATION

Whether it means missing a flight or just losing your cool, a wrong turn can put a dent in your day. But like a Sherpa for trips large and small, the available connected Built-in^® Navigation System can help you stay confidently on course. But that's not all. It can also point you to the nearest gas stations or coffee shops.*

Evasive Steering Assist

Traffic is rolling along smoothly when suddenly there's a slow or stopped vehicle in your path. This available feature can help make it easier to potentially avoid a collision. It doesn't steer for you, but it can provide extra steering support if the system's warning goes off and you need to maneuver around the vehicle ahead.*
